What is Google Assistant and how does it work?
Google Assistant is your own personal Google, always ready to help, and is now available on Android TV™ devices.

With Google Assistant built in, you can ask Google Assistant to play your favourite movie or TV show, check the score of your favourite team, control your TV, dim the lights and more – using just your voice.

To start using Google Assistant, press the Microphone or Google Assistant button on your TV remote control or select the voice icon on the Home menu and then speak. It’s that easy!

What is required in order to use Google Assistant function?

• Sony’s Android TV – See all the compatible models HERE
• A compatible remote control
• A Google account (if you use the full function)
• An active Internet connection

What functions on my TV can Google Assistant control?

You can ask your Google Assistant for info and for help with everyday tasks.

Important: Some queries won’t work on all devices and in all languages.
