The console uses the Ryzen AMD processor with Zen 2 architecture of 7 nm and with a GPU from the Radeon Navi family that includes support for real-time ripped beam rendering, and is compatible with physical media. The new console is totally compatible with the titles of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR, indicating that the transition to the new console series is straightforward.
